Designed by John Power in 1873, 47 Wellington Street was built to inspire. Touted as the most modern schoolhouse of its time, this prominent stone building has spent over 150 years as a beacon of innovation and enlightenment.

Since its original foundation as a schoolhouse, 47 Wellington Street has played host to a badminton club, HMCS Cataraqui, and an engineering laboratory. Over a century later, the building stands tall waiting for the next chapter to unfold.
